Dr. Rebekah OldenKamp:
“In addition to family medicine, I have a focus in women’s health and physical medicine. I believe in strengthening the body’s own healing capabilities to allow patients to move toward their optimal health. I employ nutritional and botanical medicines, homeopathy, biofeedback, and postural correction, as well as conventional therapies. I enjoy taking time with my patients to educate them about health and the process of disease. I believe that as patients are educated they become more independent and equipped to achieve their individual optimal health”.
Dr. Rebekah OldenKamp (Dr. Beka) has completed 10 years of education. Her undergraduate work was completed at Edmonds Community College in Edmonds WA and Greenville College in Greenville IL where she received her BA in biology and a minor in religion. During her undergraduate studies she completed a semester abroad in southern Africa, spending the majority of her time in South Africa and Mozambique. While there her studies were focused on African culture, poverty, and development.
Between her undergraduate work and medical education she spent a year as a full time barista before transitioning into her medical studies at Bastyr University in Kenmore WA. During her clinical training she spent many rotations working with underserved communities at local women’s shelters, the 45th Street Clinic, and Carolyn Downs Family Medical Center in Seattle. She has received extra training in Activator Method, Crainosacral Therapy, and Biofeedback.
Dr. Beka is a member of Mars Hill Church for the past 5 years, and has served in their children’s ministry. She is native to the greater Seattle area, having spent much of her time growing up in her parents small business ‘Castle Framing’ in Bothell WA.
